Sheza focuses on DFI and export credit agency financings of global energy and infrastructure projects.
She joined the firm’s London office in 2019, after having practiced at the firm’s New York office from 2018-2019.

Experience

Representative matters

  • IFC, EBRD, DEG, Proparco and AIIB on on the construction, supply of equipment, financing, operation and maintenance of the second container terminal at the Damietta Port in Egypt.
  • The ECAs (including UKEF, Bpifrance, CESCE and SACE) and commercial lenders on a petrochemical project in Belgium.
  • Gemcorp on the development of the Cabinda refinery in Angola.
  • UKEF and the lenders on a secured export development guarantee financing and certain UKEF-covered and uncovered LC facilities to a company manufacturing cables for the offshore wind and interconnector markets.
  • EBRD, IFC and the commercial banks on the refinancing of the Baku Tbilisi Ceyhan (BTC) Pipeline project in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey.
  • Carlyle Group’s CAG Holdings for the redevelopment of Terminal One at John F. Kennedy International Airport.
  • New York PENRI team experience.
