Soumaya is recognized for her pragmatic and solution-oriented approach, and her ability to manage cross-border and multidisciplinary teams. She has been praised by clients and peers for her unique market knowledge. Soumaya also has extensive experience in real estate law and advises clients on all aspects of real estate development, acquisition, and financing. She has been involved in some of the most prominent real estate projects in the region, including hotels, residential complexes, and leisure facilities. She also assists the Moroccan government in negotiating agreements with investors for the implementation of investments in the automotive industry in particular.

  • Kelix Bio on its acquisition of 100% of Pharmaceutical Institute SA from its founding shareholders.
  • Ithmar Capital in relation with the sale of 100% of the capital of Wessal Bouregreg to Agence pour l’aménagement de la vallée du Bouregreg.
  • OCP on the acquisition of a portfolio of luxury hotels (including La Mamounia, Palais Jamaï, Michlifen, etc) from ONCF.
  • Development Partners International (DPI) in relation with the sale of 14.8% of the share capital of CMGP Group to Fipar Holding.
  • Development Partners International LLP (DPI) and Companie Marocaine de Goutte à Goutte et de Pompage (CMGP) on the acquisition by CMGP of a 90% stake in Comptoir Agricole du Souss (CAS) and its affiliates.
  • Development Partners International LLP (DPI) on the acquisition of a controlling stake in Compagnie Marocaine de Goutte à Goutte et de Pompage (CMGP) for EUR100m.
