Thomas´s practice primarily centers on negotiating works agreements, collective bargaining agreements and resolving industrial disputes, along with managing the start and end of employment and service contracts.

Thomas has significant expertise in handling employment litigation and negotiating severance agreements and with all issues surrounding the use of external personnel and third-party contractors.

Before joining A&O Shearman, Thomas gained extensive experience in employment law, working with different international law firms in Germany, France, and the United States. Previously, he served as Chief of Staff to the Chairwoman of the Human Rights Committee in the German Federal Parliament.
