Tim specialises in (international) tax law, corporate tax law and has a focus on transactional and tax planning work in the fields of M&A and business restructurings, capital markets and structured finance.
Tim is a member of the Dutch Bar Association and the Dutch Tax Advisors' Association and holds a master's degree in tax law from Leiden University. He joined the firm in 2019.

  • Koninklijke DSM NV on all tax aspects of its business merger with Firmenich SA creating DSM-Firmenich AG.
  • A US investment company on the acquisition of a Dutch mortgage originating business.
  • Various Dutch mortgage originators and car lease companies in relation to the securitization of assets. 
  • A Dutch pharmaceutical company on amending their employee share option plan in light of legislative changes with respect to the taxation of employee share options.
  • A listed Dutch company on the tax aspects of its executive incentive schemes.
  • A Dutch shipping company on its financial restructuring and rationalization of its asset base and corporate structure.
  • A US multinational with ‘rest of the world’ headquarters in the Netherlands on various investments in and structuring and restructuring of LNG, hydropower and PV installations in Asia, Europe and South America.
  • Advising a multinational commodity trading company with the JV structuring and commercial and tax contracting relating to a hydrogen installation.
