Wessel specialises in Dutch and international tax law and has experience in advising a wide range of clients, such as financial institutions, private equity funds and multinational corporations on a broad spectrum of tax related issues.
His practice, amongst others, includes advising on multi-jurisdictional financing transactions, international mergers and acquisitions, employee benefits, investment funds and corporate restructurings.

Wessel also has experience assisting clients in relation to formal tax law, including information requests by the Dutch tax authorities and litigating tax disputes. Other relevant experience includes advising and negotiating settlements of tax disputes and advance tax rulings and providing second opinions in relation to complex tax matters.
