Associate

Will advises on the financing and refinancing of infrastructure transactions and assets, with particular experience in the digital, transport and energy sectors. He has advised on transactions involving data centres, telecommunications towers, bandwidth and fibre providers, ferry transport services, and emergency response and rescue vessels, among others.

As well as advising on a number of infrastructure financings in the European market, Will has experience in project financings, and has worked on a number of matters in Africa and worldwide.

Will has worked with a range of clients, both as lenders and sponsors, and has handled complex and innovative transactions, involving multi-sourced financing, cross-border structures, and environmental and social considerations.

Representative matters

  • Zenobē Borrower FleetCo Limited on a second round of funding under its award-winning common terms financing platform, established in February 2022. This financing allowed Zenobe to continue to expand its EV fleet business, supporting the decarbonisation of the UK's transport networks.
  • DigitalBridge Group, Inc. and Brookfield Infrastructure on the financing of its acquisition of a 51% ownership stake in GD Towers. GD Towers is Germany’s largest tower company, owning and operating over 33,000 towers and communication sites in Germany and over 7,000 towers and communication sites in Austria.
  • DIF Capital Partners and EDF Invest in connection with the financing for the acquisition of Norwegian electric ferry operator Fjord1. Fjord1 is Norway’s largest ferry operator and the nation’s leading owner and operator of electrified ferry transportation. North Star, which is owned by Partners Group, on a new GBP140m financing package to build the next wave of its renewables fleet.
  • Lenders in relation to a new financing for the atNorth group, for its data centres business in Iceland and Sweden.
  • Lenders in relation to a new financing for the Gren group, in relation to its district heating assets in the Baltic states and Finland.
