Will represents companies engaged in the development, construction, financing, acquisition and disposition of solar, wind, storage and other energy projects, as well as corporate planning, debt and equity investments and divestitures in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Will’s clients include developers, cash and tax equity investors, lenders and contractors interested in transactions related to energy transition and infrastructure decarbonization projects across the U.S., and their experience includes diverse financing structures such as joint ventures, equity investments, direct lending and mezzanine debt financing, as well as the negotiation and transactions of project development, equipment purchase and sale, and power purchase agreements.

  • Tokyo Gas America Ltd. on the tax equity financing for the 500 MWac Akina solar facility.
  • Carlyle Infrastructure Partners on the USD$9.5 billion financing of the redevelopment of Terminal 1 at JFK airport. Awarded ‘2022 P3 Deal of the Year’ by Project Finance International; ‘2022 North American Deal of the Year’ by Proximo; and ‘2022 North American Transport Deal of the Year’ by IJGlobal.
  • InfraRed Capital Partners on the acquisition of a 49% interest in three wind projects in the U.S. (aggregate capacity of 551 MW) and an 80% interest in one 175 MW wind project in Canada from Algonquin Power.
  • SunPower Corporation on the financing of for several portfolios of residential solar systems and related commercial loans, including tax equity joint venture partnerships, mezzanine debt and conventional debt.
  • Advantage Capital on several tax equity investments into community solar and C&I scale solar projects.
  • An American utility and power generation company in the tax equity financing of the 195MW Hardy Hills Solar project in Indiana.
  • A multinational financial institution on its tax equity investment in the 160 MW Concho Valley solar project located in Texas developed by KOMIPO America, Inc.
  • A major multinational energy and commodity trading institution in the repowering of the 239 MW Big Sky Wind project in Illinois.
