Will has wide-ranging experience advising financial market participants and infrastructure providers on establishment, licensing and compliance matters in various jurisdictions in the UAE and its financial free zones. 
Will is regularly engaged to draft rulebooks and regulations for financial services regulators and markets alike in the UAE and other Gulf states. Will has been a key member of A&O Shearman teams on various innovative legislative drafting and licensing projects, particularly in the fintech and ESG spaces. Will also regularly advises banks, brokers and investment managers on the banking, securities and funds frameworks implemented by various regulators in the UAE, both onshore and offshore
