Gina is a leading energy and infrastructure projects expert with over 15 years of experience across a wide range of traditional and new energy and infrastructure sectors, including hydrogen / ammonia, EV value chain, LNG and other oil & gas projects, renewable energy (solar, onshore and offshore wind), ports, roads and other transport sectors.

Gina works with sponsors, financial institutions, export credit agencies, policy banks and private capital investors on cutting edge energy and infrastructure projects globally and across the whole life cycle of such projects, including project structuring, commercial contracts, joint venture arrangements, project financing (including various financing structures across the capital stack), M&A and divestments. Gina is particularly experienced in large scale, multi-sourced greenfield project financings.

  • The lenders to a joint venture company on the financing of the world’s first giga-scale green hydrogen plant to produce up to 1mtpa of green ammonia in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • JBIC on its project financing for the Triton Knoll Offshore Windfarm, an offshore electricity transmission link connecting the 857 MW Triton Knoll wind farm to the UK grid.

LNG
  • The Export Credit Agencies and lenders on the development and financing of the USD10bn Coral South FLNG project to be moored in the Area 4 Coral South Offshore Basin, Mozambique.
  • The first-ever project financing of a floating LNG vessel (FLNG), the first LNG project Mozambique and the USD5bn financing was the largest project financing in African history at the time.
  • Midstream Oil & Gas Deal of the Year, IJ Global 2018. ECA-Backed Energy Deal of the Year, TXF 2018.

  • Lekki Port LFTZ Enterprise Limited (LPLEL) on its USD629 million loan from China Development Bank in relation to the financing, the construction and the sub-concession arrangements for the first major part of Lekki deep sea port in Lagos State, Nigeria.
  • Acting as lenders' counsel in relation to the financing of the upgrade of the proposed RAD Expressway in Bangladesh.
  • China Harbour Engineering Co. Ltd (CHEC) in connection with the Primera Línea del Metro de Bogotá – Tramo I PPP project.
  • ECA-backed lenders and DFIs in relation to the financing of O3b, a constellation of 8 MEO satellites aimed at providing internet access to large parts of Africa.
  • YahSat, a USD 1.807 billion project for the development, construction, launch, operation and maintenance of two dual-use communications satellites for both commercial and military use in the UAE.
