Artificial intelligence

Being the best at building and using legal AI makes us the best at advising on it. We believe that to provide robust, trusted, and sophisticated advice, lawyers must understand the technology from every angle. Thanks to our focus on innovation, our lawyers understand how to use, build, deploy, and govern these tools.

Zebra

We build AI-powered legal products in conjunction with hundreds of lawyers around our global network - their legal expertise is part of our tech stack. They test early iterations, feedback on functionality, and suggest improvements at every stage of development.

We licence these products to clients on a SaaS basis, and we use them internally so that we can deliver legal advice more efficiently for our clients. This experience in deployment across a global corporation means we understand how to responsibly govern AI: from establishing training programmes to tackling info sec and data management challenges.

This is why clients comment that we offer insights and advice on AI which no other firm can match. Our advice spans every major jurisdiction and the full spectrum of AI risk management, from regulation and privacy to IP, AI transactions and litigation, M&A and investments, antitrust and export control.

Among others, we’re advising European tech and industry giants, some of the largest AI foundation model developers, three of the five biggest Western banks in the world, and a G20 country on its national AI strategy and AI regulation.
