We build AI-powered legal products in conjunction with hundreds of lawyers around our global network - their legal expertise is part of our tech stack. They test early iterations, feedback on functionality, and suggest improvements at every stage of development.

We licence these products to clients on a SaaS basis, and we use them internally so that we can deliver legal advice more efficiently for our clients. A&O Shearman and Harvey to roll out agentic AI agents

You might have read in the Financial Times about our latest project with Harvey: agents by A&O Shearman. A&O Shearman and Harvey are launching a series of agentic, multi-step reasoning AI agents for complex legal tasks.

The agents integrate our legal expertise and will be rolled out internally, as well as being made available to clients and other law firms.

The initial agents focus on antitrust filing analysis, cybersecurity, fund formation, and loan review—high-value areas requiring deep legal expertise and multi-step reasoning.

• A syndicate of global organizations on the safe deployment of generative AI. Our work included developing a toolkit for assessing and mitigating key legal risks (across U.S., U.K. and EU laws) and implementing an enterprise change management programme to support the deployment of generative AI.
• A life sciences company on the design and drafting of a governance framework to triage AI use cases across its global functions and businesses, as well as building the software application to encode that framework .  
• Sole legal counsel to Partnership on AI; advised on its draft generative AI safety protocols and a collaboration arrangement relating to the roll-out of certain of its data ethics guidelines.
