A&O Shearman assisted and represented Danske Bank in respect of a public interest judicial agreement ((CJIP) i.e. a French-style DPA).

On September 18, 2024, the President of the Paris Judicial Tribunal approved the public interest judicial agreement entered into on 27 August 2024 between the Financial Public Prosecutor and Danske Bank A/S.

This CJIP (“Convention Judiciaire d'Intérêt Public” i.e. a French-style deferred prosecution agreement (DPA)) follows the global resolution of a matter that has been facing Danske Bank for years, including in Denmark, the U.K., France, and the U.S.

“The resolution of such a high-profile case really underscores our legal expertise in criminal law and our capability to handle complex and high-stakes legal matters”.
