Alex advises financial institutions, developers and sovereign wealth vehicles on a range of cross-border commercial real estate transactions.

Alex acts on acquisitions and disposals of commercial property, commercial leasing and advises arrangers and originators on real estate matters on residential mortgage backed securitisations and Discount Window Facility transactions. Alex’s experience spans a variety of use classes including prime office space, mixed-use developments, retail space and distribution assets.

In 2022, Alex spent six months on secondment at Fuse, the firm’s tech innovation space, assisting on pilots of new technology and connecting clients with technologies of interest to their legal teams and the wider business.

  • Advising a maternity rights charity dedicated to promoting, protecting and enhancing the rights of all pregnant women, new mothers and their families to employment, social security and health care.
  • Advising a child rights organisation that works in a remote area of Northern Africa on its lease of office space in London.
  • Advising a global human rights organising on international legislation relating to ensuring reproductive rights are protected in law as fundamental human rights for the dignity, equality, health and well-being of every person.
  • Advising a local charity on its lease of office space and certain licences for the provision of its services in the UK.
