Andrew has experience representing U.S. and international banks, hedge funds and large corporates in connection with a variety of structured finance, derivatives, and repurchase transactions.
He has also worked on ISDA/SIFMA documentation projects, including protocols relating to the Dodd-Frank Act, ISDA IBOR Fallbacks and the 2024 SIFMA Master Treasury Securities Clearing Agreement. Andrew has previously worked as in-house counsel to both U.S. and non-U.S. banks, advising on regulatory and transactional matters.

Representative matters

  • Created and revised major financial institution documentation playbooks and templates.
  • Seven international banks, including Citi, Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan, in negotiating highly structured repurchase transactions with Banco Central de la República Argentina (BCRA). These transactions were crucial in bolstering the U.S. dollar reserves of BCRA at a critical time in Argentina’s history, increasing BCRA’s capacity to confront external shocks and minimizing potential disruption in the local market.
  • Advised large international bank with registration as a CFTC swap dealer along with drafting related policiies and procedures

Pro bono

  • Recipient of 2017 Pro Bono Publico Award from The Legal Aid Society Award for representation of indigent clients with respect to SSD/SSI overpayments.
