Anzal is Global Co-Head of Global Financial Markets and Islamic Finance Lead.

He regularly advises on international Islamic sukuk transactions and international debt offerings (both Regulation S and Rule 144A issues) by emerging market issuers in the Middle East, South Asia and elsewhere, Shari’a-compliant finance structures, equity offerings (including hybrid capital issues), debt issuance programmes, convertible securities, derivative securities and securitisations.

In the Chambers Global 2024 directories, Anzal is ranked in Band 1 across three separate categories (Middle East-wide Capital Markets: Debt, United Arab Emirates Capital Markets: Debt and Middle East-wide: Islamic Finance).
