Arash advises on complex and high-value international arbitration and commercial litigation proceedings across a broad range of sectors and jurisdictions, with particular focus on disputes relating to financial products and services. 
He has acted on arbitrations under international and local institutional rules (including ICC, LCIA, DIFC-LCIA and ADCCAC arbitrations) and in DIFC and English court proceedings. He works with major international and regional clients and has represented several financial institutions, corporates and state-owned entities.

  • A state-owned entity in a dispute relating to a private credit transaction (two London seated, LCIA and ICC arbitrations).
  • A global bank in a dispute with an investor client relating to a futures trading and clearing agreement (DIFC seated, DIFC-LCIA arbitration).
  • A global bank in a dispute with a corporate borrower and its guarantor relating to a trade credit facility and related letters of undertaking (DIFC Court proceedings).
  • A global bank in a dispute with a national bank relating to letters of credit under a trade financing (DIFC Court proceedings).
  • A global bank in a dispute with a corporate borrower relating to a credit facilities agreement (DIFC Court proceedings).
