Brian is a seasoned antitrust litigator with over a decade of experience representing clients in high-stakes, complex antitrust disputes.  

Brian has provided strategic counsel to leading companies across a wide variety of industries, including healthcare, aviation, technology, financial institutions, and wine and spirits. 

Brian’s practice includes representing clients in federal and state courts, as well as before the Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission. He has successfully defended clients in major antitrust cases in cases involving challenges to his clients’ use and enforcement of their intellectual property and against allegations of unlawful agreements. His passion for understanding market dynamics and his analytical approach to assessing large records and economic evidence helps his clients achieve favorable litigation outcomes.

Prior to joining the firm, Brian practiced antitrust law at another international law firm. Brian earned his LL.M. in competition law at New York University where he received the Frank T. Diersen Prize for graduating number one in his program.

  • Health insurers in multidistrict litigation and several opt-out litigations alleging antitrust violations under Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act.
  • Contact lens retailer in parallel government and class action litigations challenging a series of trademark settlements as antitrust violations.
  • Airline in trials against the Department of Justice related to a joint venture and an attempted merger.
  • Video game console manufacturer in a class action litigation challenging its decision to stop selling certain products through retailers as a Section 2 violation.
  • Fintech company in litigation with a terminated reseller challenging its termination as a Section 2 violation and other of its contractual terms as Section 1 violations.
  • Several financial institutions and a financial exchange in various lawsuits challenging the setting of certain interest rates and benchmarks as Section 1 violations.
