Caroline has a wide range of experience advising private equity funds, financial sponsors and their portfolio companies on the full range of cross-border M&A transactions, including buyouts, mergers, exits, joint ventures, consortium arrangements and take private transactions.
In 2017 Caroline spent six months on secondment at Charterhouse Capital Partners and a year and half on secondment to the firm’s Singapore office from 2020 to 2021.

  • USS on the sale of a minority interest in Dukes Education to KKR.
  • Apax on the acquisition of WGSN.
  • Waterland on its acquisition of a 55% stake in the accounting and audit firm, Moore Kingston Smith LLP.
  • A global alternative investment management firm on its joint venture with Hines to acquire Aedes SIIQ, an Italian REIT.
  • A global investment organization on the joint venture with Paine Schwartz Partners to create BLOOM FRESH International, a global fruit breeding company.
  • FNZ, a global wealth management platform, on its USD1.4bn equity fundraising from Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and Motive Partners, valuing the group at over USD20bn.
  • A privately held investment company on its acquisition of Unilabs from funds advised by Apax.
  • PAI on:
    - its (and its portfolio company, R&R Ice Cream) joint venture with Nestlé to create Froneri.
    - the sale of the caprolactone division of Perstorp to Ingevity Corporation.
  • AIMCo on its acquisition of a 30% stake in Davies Group.
  • Charterhouse Capital Partners on the public-to-private of Tarsus Group plc.
