Caterina has 7 years of experience and focuses on insolvency and restructuring.

She advises on insolvency proceedings and corporate restructurings for companies in crisis, providing assistance to debtors, credit institutions, institutional investors and trustees in all types of domestic and cross-border debt restructuring matters, both judicial and out-of-court procedures. 

She follows deals through all their various phases., from the preliminary analysis of the debt situation to identify the most appropriate procedure or legal instrument for crisis management - including the negotiation phase of moratorium agreements, standstill agreements and financing contracts for the granting of new finance or bridge finance - up to the subsequent management of the procedure or restructuring process. 

Caterina has also gained experience in managing an Extraordinary Administration procedure, acting as an assistant to the Extraordinary Commissioner.

  • A real estate company in a restructuring agreement pursuant to Article 182-bis of the old Bankruptcy Law before the Court of Milan, homologated and executed. 
  • Two companies part of a leading group in the shipping sector in a complex restructuring operation through a proceedings of composition with creditors, before the Court of Milan, homologated and executed. 
  • A well-known clothing brand in an extraordinary administration procedure as an assistant to the Extraordinary Commissioner appointed by the Ministry of Economic Development (now Ministry of Business and of the made in Italy). 
  • One of the main Italian banks in the transfer of UTP subject to a restructuring agreement pursuant to Article 57 of the Crisis and Insolvency Code and related agreements. 
  • One of the main Italian banks in the financial restructuring of a company operating in the DIY sector in a negotiated composition proceeding concluded with a restructuring agreement pursuant to Article 57 of the Crisis and Insolvency Code. 
  • One of the main Italian banks in the financial restructuring of a company operating in the inert material quarry sector, implemented through the transfer of a business unit in the context of a preventive arrangement. 
  • Several Italian banks in the negotiation of various debt restructuring agreements pursuant to Article 57 of the Crisis and Insolvency Code. 
  • A company operating in the steel market in the negotiated composition proceeding, with the lease of a business unit prior to the transfer.
