David is a skilled litigator with a full range of experience across a number of areas, including securities, antitrust, commercial, criminal, and mass tort litigation, as well as internal and regulatory investigations.

David has represented clients across a variety of industries, including finance, private equity, technology, media, transportation, and manufacturing.  He has been a key member on a number of trial teams, and can provide knowledgeable insight to any aspect of a litigation at any stage of a case, whether it is responding to a complaint, strategically executing discovery, or preparing an appeal.

Representative matters

  • Represented an airline, a media company, and a government contractor in connection with antitrust suits challenging proposed mergers and acquisitions.
  • Advised financial institutions in connection with regulatory inquiries.
  • Represented a technology company in a putative securities class action.
  • Represented a board member of a financial institution in a derivative litigation. 

Pro bono

  • A Criminal Justice Act (CJA) representation of an indigent criminal defendant in California federal court. Prepared and argued appeal of client’s conviction to 9th Circuit.
