She is experienced in advising on a wide range of construction and engineering projects for relevant interested parties, with a particular focus on private sector developer, investor and retail clients across all asset classes.

Emma advises clients on a broad range of procurement matters, including procurement strategies, construction framework contracts, standard building and engineering contracts, including the JCT, NEC, FIDIC, MF1 and IChemE forms of contract, associated framework and project specific consultant documentation, funding, security and collateral agreements. She regularly works with the wider Real Estate team, providing advice on the construction aspects of real estate and development matters, including on the acquisition, sale and leasing of properties through various differing structures. Emma has recently advised a private capital client on a series of forward funding arrangements for its investment into the logistics sector in the UK and has advised several clients on their London HQ projects.

She has extensive experience advising lenders and sponsors on all construction aspects of financing transactions and is a key part of the firm’s market leading real estate finance practice, having acted on some of the most significant development financings in London in recent years. She is noted by clients for her quality of advice in this field.

Emma is also experienced in advising on contract management and issues arising in the early stages of potential disputes, including contractor insolvency, and has advised on a number of construction disputes.

She is a core member of the firm’s data centre group and is currently working on a number of data centre projects.
