Gregory Taylor
Greg has assisted companies and individuals in high-stakes commercial disputes and regulatory matters across a variety of industries, including media, technology, renewable energy, finance, and cryptocurrency.

Greg’s practice spans all phases of litigation from pre-litigation advisory matters to motion practice, discovery, settlements, trial, and appeals. He has assisted clients with matters in both state and federal court at the trial and appellate court levels, and in connection with cross-border and domestic investigations.

Prior to joining the firm, Greg worked at the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative, where he managed or supported grant-funded programs in Latin America and the Middle East to strengthen the rule of law, access to justice, and judicial independence. He also served in the Peace Corps in El Salvador. Greg continues to believe strongly in the importance of service and maintains an active pro bono practice.

  • Executives and corporate owners of a cryptocurrency exchange in a putative class action alleging civil RICO and tort claims in connection with the alleged theft of cryptocurrency.
  • A financial institution at a trial in a dispute brought by a Latin American company alleging misrepresentations in the course of entering currency hedging contracts.
  • A media company and certain of its officers and directors as appellees in a putative class action alleging violations of the Securities Act of 1933.
  • A telecommunications company and certain of its officers in a putative class action alleging violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
  • A renewable energy company and certain of its officers and directors in shareholder litigation alleging breach of fiduciary duty claims in state court, and a parallel federal securities class action, in connection with a take-private merger transaction.
  • The underwriters of an IPO in a class action alleging violations of the Securities Act of 1933.
  • A financial institution in a SEC investigation in connection with a deSPAC merger transaction.
