Greta is an employment lawyer with a focus on all aspects of employment and equal opportunity law.
Greta’s practice spans all aspects of the employment relationship, including employment litigation, equal opportunity and discrimination, termination of employment and workplace investigations. Greta assists clients in a broad range of sectors, including large-scale retail, manufacturing, public transport, government, mining and infrastructure. She provides support and advice to clients to assist in understanding their legal obligations and navigating the employment landscape.
 
Greta has experience assisting clients on a range of litigious, advisory and transactional matters. She has advised on complex issues arising in all aspects of the employment relationship, and has extensive litigation experience.
 

Experience

Representative matters

  • Advising a financial services company on an employment tribunal claim arising alleging unfair dismissal, including allegations of whistleblowing and discrimination.
  • Providing transactional support, including conducting employment due diligence, to the corporate team advising a global equity investor on its acquisition of a 100% interest in a global automotive business. 
  • Conducting an investigation for a global digital marketing company into allegations of bullying made by a former employee. 

Pro bono

Advising an Australian not-for-profit organization in relation to drafting and negotiation of an executive employment contract for an incoming Chief Executive Officer.

Advising an Australian unincorporated youth-led climate change network in relation to its incorporation and subsequent advice in relation to the transfer their assets to the new entity, including advice in relation to transfer of employment.
