Igor is an experienced and versatile lawyer, specialising in banking and dispute resolution, and dual-qualified in Russia and England and Wales.

His wide-ranging banking expertise includes lending, project finance, securitization, derivatives and bank regulation. Igor also practises in international capital markets. With over 23 years' experience, Igor is a well-known disputes lawyer, specialising in domestic and cross-border litigation and international arbitration. In recent years he has focused on bankruptcy and restructuring mandates and defended international clients in proceedings involving Russian language and law aspects, being a Russian qualified advocate.

Igor works with major international and local clients, including financial institutions and manufacturing, retail, energy and natural resources companies, across the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) region and leads our CIS Banking and Dispute Resolution teams. He also supports with sanctions-related and regulatory matters. Igor has been praised among leading banking, disputes and project finance lawyers in the CIS.
