Jackie has extensive experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate advisory matters, with specific expertise advising inbound investors on Australia’s foreign investment regime.
She advises on a wide range of domestic and cross border transactional and corporate advisory matters. Jackie has experience advising bidders and target companies in respect of public M&A (takeovers and schemes of arrangement) and advising companies and investors on share sales, business sales and joint ventures.

Jackie has acted on numerous inbound investments into Australia, leading to her in-depth knowledge of Australia’s foreign investment regime, including the Foreign Investment Review Board’s application and approval process.

  • Advising a national petroleum and natural gas company on its acquisition of a strategic minority stake in a newly formed diversified global LNG company.
  • Fortescue Limited on corporate governance matters and on project acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures in relation to its iron ore business, port and rail infrastructure and its green energy business.
  • Advising an international investor on its proposed acquisition of a significant stake in an independent retail fuels business.
  • Horizon Minerals in relation to its acquisition of Greenstone Resources Limited by way of schemes of arrangement.
  • Horizon Minerals in relation to its acquisition of Poseidon Nickel Limited by way of schemes of arrangement.
  • OreCorp Limited on the demerger of its Australian subsidiary, Solstice Minerals and the subsequent IPO of Solstice Minerals on the Australian Stock Exchange, which successfully raised the maximum subscription of AUD12m.
  • OreCorp Limited on its proposed takeover by Silvercorp Metals Inc initially via a scheme of arrangement under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and a placement of new fully-paid ordinary shares of OreCorp issued to Silvercorp to raise AUD28m, and in relation to the successful takeover bid by Perseus.

  • Advising the Australian Water Safety on the Mekong Project Inc on legal liability of committee members.
  • Working on various fundraising initiatives with Starlight Children’s Foundation, whose mission is to brighten the lives of sick children.
