Jana is an associate in the Investigations and Litigation practice group in the firm’s New York office. Her practice includes supporting clients, namely large global entities, in the conduct of multijurisdictional internal investigations, advocating for them in contentious regulatory proceedings, and advising them on regulatory and compliance matters. She also has experience on congressional inquiry matters. Prior to joining Allen & Overy, Jana worked for the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs. Jana advises clients on a wide range of regulatory and compliance matters involving commodities, securities, anti-corruption laws, and political laws. She supports clients across various sectors, including financial services, oil & gas, technology, and consumer goods, in the conduct of multijurisdictional internal investigations, regulatory proceedings, and regulatory and compliance matters. Her practice focuses on federal and state government investigations, cross-border litigation, transactional due diligence, and compliance risk assessments. She represents clients in front of the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and state regulators.
