Jarosław is Head of Poland Corporate and Lead of the Baltic Desk.

He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, with a particular emphasis on the financial institution sector.

He also has extensive experience in private equity transactions. He has advised on several major M&A transactions in the Polish market, including Naspers’ sale of the Polish e-commerce giant Allegro, Santander’s acquisition of Deutsche Bank’s Polish retail operations and Saudi Aramco’s investment in the Gdańsk Refinery.

Representative matters

  • Aramco on its investment in Poland’s refining, wholesale, and jet fuel marketing segments through a number of acquisitions from PKN Orlen.
  • Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Limited on its acquisition of Emitel from Astatine Investment Partners. 
  • Aegon on the sale of its Polish life insurance and pension businesses to Vienna International Group. 
  • Ørsted on a joint venture with PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. for the development, construction and operation of two offshore wind projects in the Baltic Sea, with a total potential capacity of up to 2.5GW.
