Joanna’s work includes, among others, the structuring, setting up, registration, and ongoing operation, of Luxembourg regulated (SIFs and SICARs) and unregulated (limited partnerships and RAIFs) investment funds investing in a variety of asset classes, alternative assets in particular, as well as advising on general fund regulatory matters. 

She also extensively advises institutional investors on their investments in private equity, venture capital, debt, real estate, and infrastructure funds established in Luxembourg or other jurisdictions, as well as on co-investments in such funds. Joanna also has experience in advising clients on secondary transactions and fund regulatory matters, including with respect to AIFMD.

Prior to joining the firm, Joanna gained 15 years of experience working in several other leading law firms located in Luxembourg, the U.S. and France. She also spent three years working as legal counsel for the European Investment Fund (EIF), advising EIF on, amongst others, its investments in private equity, venture capital, loan and social impact funds.
