Julius advises on all legal matters concerning investment and regulatory law, including the structuring, documentation, and set-up of open-ended and closed-ended alternative investment funds in the areas of real estate-, infrastructure- and private equity funds.
He works with major international clients across jurisdictions and has specialized knowledge regarding direct and indirect investments in regulated and unregulated alternative investment funds for institutional investors with a focus on insurance companies and pension funds, asset managers and capital management companies.

  • Advice on the fund structuring of a Luxembourg SCSp regarding its compliance and eligibility for German institutional investors under the German participation quota pursuant to sec. 2 para. 1 no. 13 lit. b) German Investment Ordinance.
  • Regulatory advice on the refinancing and disposal of a real property located in Japan.
  • Regulatory advice on the sale of a real estate portfolio comprising of real properties located in the Netherlands.
  • Draft of the fund rules, investor agreement, investor information agreement and subscription booklet of a German feeder fund in the form of a closed-end special-AIF based of Anglo-American templates for feeder funds in the form of a partnership.
  • Regulatory review of the documentation of a Luxembourg SCSp in context of its eligibility for German institutional investors under the German real estate quota pursuant to sec. 2 para. 1 no. 14 lit. c) German Investment Ordinance.
