Leonhard also has experience in advising on patent disputes in the high-tech sector. He monitors and coordinates multinational patent infringement and validity proceedings.

Before joining A&O Shearman, Leonhard worked as a research assistant and trainee lawyer for international law firms, as well as for the German Bundestag and the European Patent Office.
