She has extensive financial services experience, advising Australian and international financial services clients on a broad range of matters, including financial services regulatory matters (including licensing, the marketing and distribution of financial products and breach reporting), acquisitions and disposals, retail and wholesale public offerings and the structuring and establishment of retail and wholesale funds.

Maria was named a rising star in the New Zealand Legal 500 in 2022 and a NZ Lawyer Elite Woman for 2022, an award which celebrates New Zealand’s top female legal talent.
