  • Macquarie on the funds elements of its $2.3bn acquisition of the UK Green Investment Bank (now Green Investment Group).
  • A financial institution on the pension fund elements of its £13bn strategic partnership with Schroders plc to create a market leading wealth proposition – Schroders Personal Wealth.
  • Oxford Properties and QuadReal jointly on their investment into two Global Logistic Properties (GLP) Europe-focussed real estate funds, GLP Europe Income Partners I and GLP Europe Development Partners I, totalling $4bn in size.
  • Cain International on the establishment of its €324m European Real Estate Opportunity Fund.
  • A European family office on the establishment of its €720m first fund vehicle.
  • A Middle Eastern sovereign wealth fund on its $700m investment into GS Mezzanine Debt Partners VII.

Pro bono

  • Advising Zacchaeus 2000 Trust, representing vulnerable clients with physical and/or mental disabilities at Tribunal hearings for appeals in relation to Employment Support Allowance and Personal Independence Payments.
  • Advising Coram Children's Legal Centre, assisting vulnerable children and young adults living in the UK to obtain British citizenship.
  • Mentoring young people through the firm’s award-winning Smart Start programme.
  • Providing reading support for primary-aged children at Christchurch School, Brick Lane, through the firm’s Reading Scheme.
  • Mentoring primary-age girls and their mothers at Christchurch School, Brick Lane to encourage their aspirations and engage them in the importance of education for women, through Mosaic Mentoring.
  • Drafting charity applications for financial support from the Allen Overy Shearman Sterling Foundation.
