Pawel also represents financial institutions, private equity funds and trade creditors in bankruptcy, restructuring proceedings and insolvency litigation. He often serves as Head of the Creditors’ Council, which is a body influencing how Polish insolvency proceedings are conducted. His practice involves identifying, counteracting and challenging fraudulent transactions. He has particular expertise in court-based and out-of-court enforcement of security interest (eg registered pledges).
