He is responsible for the development and delivery of internal and external knowledge resources and training programmes in asset finance, general banking and legal drafting. He advises the team on relevant legal developments and innovations in the aviation and shipping sectors and in banking law generally.
Philip has been a qualified lawyer for over 25 years and frequently works with industry bodies and trade associations to help respond to regulatory and legislative proposals as well as clients in producing and providing training materials. He has acted as the firm’s administrator on the International Registry of Mobile Assets since its inception, provides advice on the Cape Town Convention and deals with the Registry on an almost daily basis.
