Richard is a project development and construction lawyer who advises governments, developers, lenders and contractors on large-scale infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on energy transition, digital infrastructure and giga-project development.
Having been based in the Middle East for over a decade, he has extensive experience advising on public-private-partnerships (PPPs) and project financings across a diverse array of sectors, including energy, utilities, social infrastructure, transport, tourism, oil and gas and petrochemicals. Richard takes a highly commercial and pragmatic approach to his work and clients regularly praise Richard for his solution-oriented advice, knowledge of the Middle East and ability to get deals done.
