Sigrid specialises in restructuring and workouts of companies in financial distress and the bankruptcy remote structuring of new deals. Sigrid has represented companies, including private equity investors, and financial institutions in a wide range of domestic and cross border corporate and multi-bank debt restructurings. She also has particular expertise in corporate finance, secured lending, (financial) collateral arrangements and distressed debt trading.
Sigrid joined the firm in 2000 and has been a partner since 2012. She was Global Co-Head of Restructuring, 2021 - 2024. Sigrid is member and fellow of the International Association of Insolvency Lawyers (INSOL International), member of the editorial board of INSOL International, member of the Dutch Association of Insolvency Lawyers (INSOLAD) and member of the insolvency committee for the Ministry of justice.
