  • Counsel to DOJ’s Independent Monitor of Binance, a global cryptocurrency exchange, in connection with its USD 4.3B BSA / AML and sanctions resolution with DOJ. This settlement was nominated for Most Important Development of the Year at the Global Investigations Review 2024 awards.
  • A global financial institution against claims it aided and abetted an alleged Ponzi scheme.
  • A major financial institution in multiple internal investigations related to control failures and regulatory interactions.
  • A global financial institution in litigation involving its role as arranger of $725 million loan to SunEdison.
  • Underwriter syndicates including various global financial institutions in securities class actions on behalf of investors in companies such as Bumble and Benefitfocus.

Pro bono

  • Worked on an amicus brief filed on behalf of the National Women’s Law Center and 72 additional organizations in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, before the Supreme Court.
  • Worked with clients in immigration and asylum proceedings.
