Tom Lindley

Tom advises sponsors, developers, governments, lenders, and contractors on the development and delivery of major energy and infrastructure projects in jurisdictions around the world.

He has experience in all main energy and infrastructure sectors, ranging from oil & gas, through renewable power (including nuclear) and rail/rolling stock to infrastructure, and with a particular focus in recent years on energy transition projects. Tom has particular experience of drafting and negotiating key project contracts (including EPC and O&M contracts, PPAs and other commodity sale/supply arrangements) and joint venture agreements, as well as advising on their subsequent implementation during all stages of a project’s life.

  • An IOC as operator and lead developer on the development of an LNG project in Asia with integrated CCS.
  • The sole international sponsor on all aspects of their development of the Cabinda Oil Refinery in Angola.
  • A global logistics company on a number of green marine fuel projects producing green hydrogen converting to ammonia and methanol across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and North America, including offtake arrangements.
  • The sponsor in relation to the construction of the GBP16bn Xlinks Morocco–UK power interconnector project.
