Tomáš specialises in M&A and corporate law matters, especially in regulated industries.

He is regularly involved in cross-border and domestic transactions, including private or competitive acquisitions, disposals, corporate reorganisations, and joint ventures. In recent years, Tomáš has advised clients on a number of prominent M&A transactions in the energy sector in Slovakia.

Tomáš has also significant experience in advising clients on venture capital transactions and on private equity/funds structuring mandates. During his six-month secondment at A&O Shearman's London office, he broadened his experience in the field of international M&A and joint ventures.

In addition to transactional work, he has extensive experience advising on real estate matters and regulatory matters in the energy sector.

  • Epic Games, Inc. (Epic) on the acquisition of Capturing Reality, s.r.o. (CR) from the individual founders of CR. CR is developing a state-of-the-art photogrammetry software tool - RealityCapture, currently the fastest solution on the market enabling automatic creation of virtual reality scenes, textured 3D meshes, orthographic projections, geo-referenced maps and much more from images and/or laser scans.
  • AEGON on its EUR155m disposal of insurance businesses in the Czech Republic and insurance and pension savings business in Slovakia to NN Group.
