Yuki has both inbound and outbound experience advising Japanese and International clients in a wide range of commercial transactions including private acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, strategic investments, equity issues and restructuring.
He also has knowledge and experience in handling cross-border transactions from both corporate and antitrust point of view.

  • MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings on its acquisition of a minority stake for approximately AUD500m in ASX-listed Challenger Limited, an Australian financial services company, recognised as a leader in the individual annuity insurance market in Australia.
  • MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings on its acquisition of a minority stake (GBP800m) in UK-based ReAssure Jersey One Limited, a closed-book life insurer and a subsidiary of Swiss Re group; and on the subsequent its acquisition of a further 10% stake in ReAssure Jersey One Limited.
  • Daidoh Limited on its acquisition of a controlling stake (65%) in Pontetorto S.p.A, from Victoria S.p.A, Enrico Banci and Luigi Banci. Pontetorto is an Italian fabrics and textile producer, recognised as a leader in the design and production of top-quality technical fabrics for fashion and sportswear.
  • Alpha Corporation on the acquisition of the automotive locks business of Assa Abloy in Europe.

Pro bono

  • Advised Save the Children Japan, an NPO, on international and domestic legal matters.
