A&O Shearman advises IHH Healthcare on landmark USD900m acquisition of Island Hospital, Penang

A&O Shearman is advising IHH Healthcare (IHH), one of the world’s largest private healthcare groups, on its USD900 million acquisition of Island Hospital, Penang.

The transaction is expected to close in November 2024 and is one the largest M&A deals in Malaysia this year.

The team has successfully executed over USD3.5 billion in M&A transactions since May 1, 2024.
