A&O Shearman advises on first issuance of green bonds by PKO Bank Polski

A&O Shearman advised PKO Bank Polski, the largest bank in Poland, on its issuance of EUR750 million 3.875%. Green Senior Non-Preferred Callable Fixed to Floating Interest Rate Notes due 2027.

This was PKO Bank Polski’s first issuance of Green Bonds, which will now be listed on the regulated markets of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, including the green segment of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LGX) and the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Banco Santander, Erste, HSBC, LBBW and PKO Bank Polski acted as joint lead managers.

The A&O Shearman team was led by Łukasz Walczyna, assisted by Alicja Urbańska. Jamie Durham provided English law advice, and Arkadiusz Pędzich supervised the project.
