A&O Shearman bolsters M&A and Real Estate capabilities with the addition of partners Emanuele Trucco and Andrea De Pieri in Italy

Andrea is a dual qualified attorney in Italy and New York, where he worked for a major U.S. law firm. Andrea is primarily focused on real estate and his background includes assisting a variety of corporate clients, investment banks, and real estate funds. With a profound expertise in the real estate sector in a broad range of transactions, Andrea has played a pivotal role in some of the most significant Italian deals in that sector in recent years.

Emanuele is a dual-qualified attorney in both Italy and New York, he has worked over the years in the United States, in Chicago and New York, and he has a remarkable private equity and M&A focus covering both private as well as public M&A projects. Moreover, he is highly regarded for his experience in the capital markets space where he represents both underwriters and corporate clients on complex international and Italian equity capital markets transactions involving privatizations, IPOs, public offerings, private placements and rights offering, as well as issuers in connection with ongoing corporate governance and securities law matters.

The team alongside Emanuele and Andrea comprises Eliana Cioffi, Greta Dell’Anna, Olimpia Salsiera, Duccio Cangioli and Gianfilippo Attanasio.
