Pien is also closely involved with M&A transactions where financial institutions are involved. She has been closely involved with a complex cross-border mergers of banks, several deals in the accountancy sector, and a highly noticeable insurers deal.

Pien also has ample experience with prudential regulatory requirements for banks and the recovery and resolution framework (BRRD). Pien has recently been seconded to the resolution team Dutch Central Bank (De Nederlandsche Bank), dedicating her time to assist with the complex nature of the recovery and resolution matters and drafting relevant documentation.

Pien has graduated this year for the post-academic Grotius (specialization Financial law) with honors (cum laude), which is a great acknowledgment of her growing knowledge.
