Thomas specialises in leveraged and acquisition finance as well as corporate finance. 
Thomas has significant experience in advising on debt financing, including syndicated loans, private debt financing and bond issuance. He advises private equity sponsors and companies as well as banks and alternative lenders. His expertise in leveraged finance extends to both large-cap/institutional and mid-market transactions, while in corporate finance his clients benefit from his expertise in investment grade and take over finance as well as cross-over and sub-investment -grade financing. Recent instructions include leveraged finance transactions for, amongst others Bencis, Bridgepoint, Charterhouse, One Equity Partners, PAI and Riverside as well as 3i, Bregal, Bybrook, CVC, EQT, Tikehau, Bank of Ireland, Commerzbank, Helaba, SEB and various global financial institutions. Thomas also regularly advises major German corporates such as Avenga, Bike24, DKV Mobility, Flix SE, Knorr-Bremse, SAP, Sartorius, Schaeffler and SGL Carbon on corporate finance and corporate acquisition finance transactions.
