Elia has over 22 years’ experience advising Italian and international financial institutions, large multinationals and institutional investors on a wide range of tax and accounting matters.

He focuses on banking and capital markets transactions, including syndicated loans, acquisition finance, real estate finance, project finance and project bonds, securitisations and structured finance transactions.

Elia also has extensive experience in real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions and reorganisations and in the relevant accounting issues under both Italian GAAP and IAS/IFRS. Elia is a qualified lawyer, certified public accountant and registered auditor.
