Piotr advises clients on mergers & acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, corporate and commercial matters (including corporate reorganizations).

Piotr handles a broad range of legal matters related to the Technology and Defence & Security sectors. Piotr has advised clients on a number of Tech M&A deals, including transactions concerning acquisitions of software companies operating in Poland and the CEE region. He also advises on defence procurement projects under both public procurement law and internal regulations of the Polish MoD. Piotr has the unique experience of advising on the most prominent offset projects in Poland. He holds Polish security clearance authorizing him to access classified information up to the CONFIDENTIAL level.

Piotr’s portfolio of clients includes private equity funds, leading global software groups, global defence groups as well as market leaders operating in various sectors (such as technology, education, insurance and transport).

  • Mutares SE & Co. KGaA, a German private equity fund listed at Frankfurt Stock Exchange, on its acquisition of Eltel Networks Energetyka S.A. and Eltel Networks Engineering S.A., the leading providers of electrical power engineering services in Poland.
  • International Schools Partnership, a leading organization that develops educational units, on the acquisition of Akademeia Educational Group (AEG), the operator of an independent, academically selective school in Warsaw. AEG is considered to be Poland’s top private education group.
  • Sygnity S.A., a Polish listed company operating as a part of Topicus.com/TSS and Constellation Software, on the acquisition of Sagra Technology sp. z o.o., a leading Polish software company specializing in technological solutions such as Business Intelligence, Sales Force Automation, Mobile Business Solutions, and Data Discovery.
  • Bridgepoint, an international alternative asset fund management group, on the sale of Smyk Group, the leading retailer of children's apparel, toys and accessories with a network of over 150 stores and a growing e-commerce platform in Poland and the CEE region.
  • Abris Capital Partners, a private equity fund operating through its portfolio company, in relation to the acquisition of shares in a leading Polish recycling group.
